EMAC Grupo presents the ‘ASU Challenge: A Universal Accessibility and Safety Challenge’

As an awareness-raising experience, EMAC Grupo presents the ‘ASU Challenge: A Universal Accessibility and Safety Challenge’. This project was created to raise public awareness about the need for accessible pathways, both for blind individuals and for people with reduced visibility or mobility in all types of facilities, buildings, or commercial areas.

This immersive space fully engages visitors in the concept of Universal Accessibility and Safety, allowing them to navigate through an accessible circuit.

Participants who have already accepted the ‘ASU Challenge’ have walked, using a cane, along a darkened path guided by a Universal Accessibility Tactile Paving System, composed of tactile buttons and guiding strips that serve as orientation and warning elements in the presence of obstacles, level changes, or unprotected openings.
