Visit to Inditex and the Estrella Galicia Museum

On 16 May, the FMRE organised guided tours of Inditex head offices and the Estrella Galicia Museum in A Coruña.

Our CEO Emi Boix accompanied by other managers and entrepreneurs toured these facilities on a day that aims to promote networking and serve as an inspiration.

José María Álvarez Gallego, Inditex’s Corporate Development director, was in charge of welcoming and giving a talk to attendees. They were accompanied by Iria Folla-Cisneros and Mercedes Ferrer, both from the group’s Institutional Relations department, as well as Ignacio Osborne and Antonio Abril, FMRE’s president and vice-president respectively. Óscar García Maceiras, Inditex’s CEO, also addressed a few words to the group, thanking them for their visit and highlighting the importance of the mission pursued by the FMRE since its creation.

Afterwards, the visit toured the Estrella Galicia Museum (MEGA) where they were welcomed by Santiago Ojea Rivera, president of the Hijos de Rivera Family Council, and Antonio Viejo, the corporation’s corporate director. Attendees were able to enjoy a unique, interactive beer experience in which they learned about the origins of Estrella Galicia, the Rivera family and learnt step by step about the stages of beer production. The final touch was provided by a lunch in the museum itself, where attendees enjoyed experiences such as pouring their own beer and listening to a few words from Santiago Ojea Rivera and Antonio Viejo as hosts of the day.
