At EMAC® Group, we understand that our responsibility goes beyond developing innovative solutions for the construction industry. As a company committed to social welfare, we support initiatives that contribute to improving people's quality of life and promote a more inclusive society.

On the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day, we would like to share the recent collaboration with Mira'm, a non-profit organisation of public benefit whose mission is to improve the quality of life of people with autism and their families. In Spain, 1 in every 100 people is autistic, which means that almost 500,000 people are autistic. Through its work, Mira'm provides support, training and specialised intervention, promoting inclusion and respect in all areas of society.

Support for the refurbishment of Mira'm's facilities

As part of our commitment, we have contributed to the refurbishment of the facilities at the Mira'm foundation's centre in Alboraia by donating materials designed to optimise the accessibility and hygiene of the spaces. Specifically, we have provided Novorodapie® Semiflex PVC 80mm White, a profile particularly suitable for environments where ease of cleaning and maintenance of adequate hygienic conditions are essential.

This profile, made of semi-flexible PVC, covers perimeter joints and has a scotchbrite finish that prevents the accumulation of dirt and facilitates cleaning. Its combination of strength and adaptability makes it an ideal solution for centres that require optimal conditions of safety and accessibility.

At EMAC® Group, we have worked closely with the organisation to ensure that our solutions meet their specific needs, contributing to the creation of a more functional environment adapted to the people it serves.

A commitment that goes further

Our collaboration with Mira'm is not limited to this specific action. At EMAC® Group we continue to work on new initiatives with the organisation to continue supporting its work and strengthen our commitment to inclusion. We firmly believe that the business sector has a fundamental role to play in building a more equitable and accessible society, in which all people can develop to their full potential.

Promoting inclusion and respect for people with autism is not only the responsibility of families and specialised professionals, but of society as a whole. At EMAC® Group we reaffirm our commitment to improving spaces and promoting actions that contribute to social welfare.

We will continue to move forward in this direction, collaborating with organisations that work for a more inclusive and accessible world for all.
