EMAC® Group joins the debate on family business in Spain

Our CEO, Emi Boix, takes part in the round table organized by Economía 3 on family business as a social benchmark.

Economía 3 organized a business round table titled “Family Business as a Social Reference in Spain”, where EMAC® Group, represented by its CEO, Emi Boix, participated alongside leading entrepreneurs and experts.

The meeting, held at the Alcatí Business Club, reflected on the importance of family businesses as a key driver of Spain’s economy. In Spain, 90% of companies are family-owned, contributing 57% of GDP, while in the Valencian Community, these figures rise to 91% and 76% respectively.

“Managing a family business requires balancing professional and family dynamics to avoid affecting strategic decisions,” highlighted Elisa Valero, Managing Director of Economía 3.

Participants included Carlos Virosque (Grupo Virosque), Gonzalo Boronat (GB Consultores), Dolores Font Cortés, Henar López (Grupo Lactalis), Mireia Server (Rosler), Teresa Puchades (Avanza Urbana), Javier Gómez (Andbank), Juan Adsuara (Implica Corporate), Juan Maldonado (À Punt), Alfredo García-Petit (García Petit Abogados), Carlos Marín (Bravo Capital), Félix Subies (Implica Corporate Finance), and Emi Boix (EMAC® Group).

“Family businesses not only drive the economy but also build society — they represent trust, resilience, and long-term vision,” stated Emi Boix.
