EMAC® Group offers a Technical Seminar in Barcelona

EMAC® Group held a Technical Seminar on Wednesday, December 5, titled “How to Prevent Structural Damage and Other Building Pathologies: Expansion Joints and Construction Profiles”, aimed at architects, engineers, and construction professionals nationwide.

During the session, attendees reviewed the different types of expansion joints, their various applications, and the importance of proper installation to ensure the durability and performance of structures.

The Spanish Technical Building Code (CTE) requires the use of expansion joints in structural elements, flooring, and wall coverings to reduce the effects of thermal expansion and contraction. Their correct placement is essential to avoid future structural pathologies.
