The anti-seismic joint by EMAC® Group selected for the Construmat 2011 Awards

The anti-seismic joint Novojunta Pro® SISMO has been selected for the Construmat 2011 Awards in the category Products for structures and enclosures.
The jury’s verdict and awards ceremony will be announced on May 19th during the Construmat Exhibition in Barcelona.

Novojunta Pro® SISMO is a preformed profile system for structural joints, specially designed for seismic risk areas. This globally innovative product line was developed by EMAC® Group and tested by leading independent technological institutes.
Its design follows all European recommendations and standards for earthquake-resistant construction.

Made of anodized aluminum, it allows movement in three degrees of freedom: it withstands seismic vibrations, expansion and contraction, and differential movements. It also supports semi-heavy traffic loads and has a striated non-slip surface.
Installation is very simple since it comes pre-assembled. It is available for floors, ceilings, walls, and corner joints.
