“Legacy is not what we leave behind, but what we build each day.” That’s how our CEO, Emi Boix, summed up the spirit of EMAC® during her interview on La tarde con Marina, aired on 99.9 Radio Valencia. In the interview, Emi shared with warmth and honesty the journey of EMAC® since it was founded nearly 40 years ago by her father, Juan José Boix, to becoming a global company with offices in Valencia, Miami, and Italy. She spoke of the pride of leading the company today alongside her sisters, the privilege of working with a team that embraces its values as their own, and the challenge of professionalizing a family business while preserving its essence.

From expansion joints to technical doormats, we are deeply driven by a mission: universal accessibility. Thanks to our partnership with Fundación ONCE, we help make hotels, shops, and public buildings safe and accessible spaces for everyone, without exception.

The conversation also touched on innovation and how technology can anticipate potential issues. One example is our new BuildingEye® system, a pioneering structural monitoring system for large buildings that enables preventive action before risks emerge.
