Emi Boix will continue to lead the Sustainability Committee of the Valencia Chamber of Commerce
The Valencia Chamber plenary has renewed its confidence in Emi Boix, CEO of EMAC® Group, to continue leading its Sustainability Commission, ensuring continuity in her work in an area that is increasingly important for the present and future of the business community.
This renewal recognises the work carried out during this period while providing an opportunity to continue promoting dialogue, the exchange of experiences and collaboration between companies in order to move towards more sustainable and competitive business models that are committed to their surroundings.
For Emi Boix, continuing to chair the Commission means once again taking on a responsibility that is directly connected to a conviction also shared by EMAC® Group: sustainability must be translated into concrete decisions and actions within organisations.
Sustainability integrated into business strategy
At EMAC® Group, we understand sustainability as an integral part of the way we do business and of our long-term development. This commitment is reflected across different areas of our activity and strategy, from developing solutions that contribute to more sustainable, accessible, safe and inclusive construction to innovation, people management and the continuous improvement of our processes.
The company is also committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and its Sustainability Report outlines the main initiatives undertaken in the social, environmental and good governance fields. This vision is based on a clear principle: growth and competitiveness must be compatible with generating a positive impact on people, the environment and society.
A responsibility to keep moving forward
The Valencia Chamber Sustainability Commission provides a forum for sharing business challenges, experiences and perspectives surrounding a transformation that affects organisations across all areas. Emi Boix's continued leadership of the Commission will make it possible to keep working alongside other companies and professionals to turn major sustainability challenges into tangible progress.
At EMAC® Group, we thank the Valencia Chamber plenary for renewing its confidence in our CEO and congratulate everyone who forms part of the Commission for their shared work. A new period begins in which we can continue learning, collaborating and contributing towards a common goal: building more responsible companies and a more sustainable future.
