Success Story: Hotel Bécquer in Seville

At EMAC® Group, we are excited to share the case of the Hotel Bécquer in Seville, a space steeped in history and connected to our family origins. It was a very special place for our founder, Juan José Boix, during his travels through Andalusia —and today we return with pride, providing solutions that care for its floors and aesthetics.

The challenge was to offer technical solutions to protect high-traffic flooring without compromising on design and functionality. The hotel receives more than 50,000 visitors a day, so it needed durable, practical products that were visually consistent with the environment.

Implemented solutions

Novomat® customised technical mats, made from anodised aluminium and synthetic rubber, custom-designed to fit perfectly in the hotel lobby. They act as a barrier against dust, moisture and dirt, as well as providing acoustic insulation.

Novosuelo Aluminium, installed in ceramic cladding as a decorative separator and edge protector. Minimalism and functionality come together in an elegant and resistant solution.

This project stands out for its ability to combine design and durability in a high-traffic environment such as the Hotel Bécquer. Each solution installed—from customised technical mats to decorative profiles—was selected for its ability to blend elegantly into the space without compromising functionality. Furthermore, the fact that we were working in a place so significant to the personal history of our founder adds an emotional dimension that makes this case more than just a simple installation: it is a project with soul.
